My name is Ta’Tyana Stevens. I was born April 17, 1996 at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio to Pamela Calloway and James Stevens.  I currently reside in Decatur, Georgia with my mother Pamela Calloway. I attended Martin Luther King Jr. High School in Lithonia, Georgia. I graduated from Martin Luther King Jr. High School in May of 2014. I graduated in the top 10% of my class with a grade point average of 3.5. I was also a member of the cheerleading team, Beta Club, lacrosse team, and Peer Essence. In addition, I was voted "Miss 12th grade" of my class. After graduating from high school, I applied to Hampton University and was accepted. I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems at Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. My current grade point average is a 3.7. Also, I am a member of Women of Computing, an organization dedicated to woman whose majors are computer science and computer information systems. In addition, I volunteer at Open Hand Atlanta, Atlanta Community Food Bank, and Hampton University's Museum. When I graduate from college, I plan to obtain an entry-level position in my field of study that builds upon and utilizes my collegiate, internship, and community experience, and activities.
